FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
-
Hypnotherapy and NLP are the most effective tools to find, release and resolve internal conflicts, depression, blocks or illness. Everything you experience is through a filter in your mind. You choose your reality, your thoughts and your feelings. If you feel you no longer have a choice about how you think or feel, that your behavioral choices seem to be out of your control then you are up against a "mismatch" stored in your unconscious. Hypnosis and NLP can find the mismatch and restore harmony to your conscious and unconscious mind, allowing you to have the freedom to think and feel the way you want to think and feel.

What Is NLP?

Neuro-Linguistic Programming is the science of how the brain codes learning and experience. This coding affects all communication and behavior. It affects how you learn and how you experience the world around you. It is a key to reaching goals, breaking habits, solving problems and learning new behaviors.

How Did NLP Get Its Name?

NEURO refers to all of our experiences being derived through our five senses and central nervous system. LINGUISTIC refers to our mental processes that are being coded, organized and given meaning, and then transformed into language. PROGRAMMING means that people interact as a system in which experience and communication is composed of sequences of patterns or "programs" and once these patterns are recognized and understood they can be changed.
Change is the key word. NLP allows people to change quickly and often painlessly. The processes are elegant, powerful, and always practical. It is a unique way to discover how to evolve and enhance your thinking and is extremely effective in breaking through one's limitations.

What Is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a natural state of mind, one people go in and out of frequently every day. You can be in a natural trance state watching TV or a movie, reading a book, driving in your car, listening to music, or a lecture, or a sermon. Whenever something you're doing engrosses you it is an opportunity for your mind to slip into a trance-like state.
Even negative self-talk that reinforces one's fears and limitations is a hypnotic state and when done long enough can become a strong belief that is no longer challenged by your conscious mind.

How Do I Know I'm Hypnotized?

Most people notice being very relaxed and lethargic, some feel lighter as well, or their fingers might tingle. Mostly folks lose track of time and many also lose track of their bodies. These phenomena are often noticed if you've ever become engrossed in a good book and when you start to move you discover your leg has gone to "sleep" and the time has simply whizzed by.
